Fully bespoke soundproof garden studio. Our client had a dream which we made come true. This sounproof garden studio was constructed using our clients very specific build method.
When we were first contacted by our client he provided a list (below) and asked if we were interested in the project. Our client is an electronic music producer and he knew exactly what he wanted from previous experience. We assisted with our vast knowledge of soundproofing and together created his dream recording studio.
We went above and beyond the clients list creating a soundproof room where he can relax without the worry of upsetting anybody and getting noise complaints.
2x sets of French doors with acoustic laminated windows for the entrance creating an airlock and twice as much soundproofing than just one set of doors.
2x sets of walls & ceiling. Room within a room reducing noise travel
Installed a resilient bar system to walls an ceiling. This seperates the plasterboards from the main part of the wall reducing sound travel.
2x layers of 15mm High density SoundBloc plasterboards
340mm thick walls with 200mm of high density acoustic rockwool instulation.
TECSOUND SY100 was fitted inbetween the two layers of plasterboard giving that extra bit of soundproofing.
15mm dB floor matting throughout
Cedral click black smooth C50 wall cladding on all walls
White-wash pine vertical louvers fitted to the front of the studio for that modern look.
Air conditioning, Compact toilet, and Small Ikea kitchen
