To create a cohesive look across the entire property, the exterior was finished in premium Siberian Larch cladding, carefully detailed to mirror the existing timber on the main house. We then incorporated sleek black trims, black corner wraps, and matching dark window frames to complement the adjacent garage. An oversized fascia overhang fitted with integrated LED canopy downlights adds a striking contemporary touch, elegantly lighting up the entrance as dusk falls.
Underneath the beautiful timber exterior, this bespoke garden room is constructed on a heavy-duty, ground-engineered concrete slab base built to provide maximum ground stability and moisture protection. The primary frame utilizes precision-milled C24 structural timber packed with dense insulation throughout the walls, floor, and roof ceiling. This creates an energy-efficient thermal envelope that locks in warmth during winter and keeps the space comfortably cool throughout the warmer summer months.
Natural daylight floods the interior through premium double-glazed units, including three-panel black bi-fold doors, a separate single side entrance door, and a full-height side viewing panel. For total temperature management regardless of the weather outside, we installed a discreet, high-efficiency external split-system air conditioner on the side elevation.
Inside, the bespoke garden room is finished to full residential standards.
